Several members of the IBR Institute of International Business Relations (IBR) faculty are formally appointed by Kairos University as Affiliate Professors, thereby serving as part of the Kairos teaching faculty. These appointments are made by Kairos University in accordance with its academic policies and quality-assurance standards.
Affiliate Professors associated with IBR contribute to the Master of Arts in Leadership programme by providing learning and immersion experiences that draw on both their academic expertise and their extensive management experience.
They bring real-world insight into the classroom, as many of them are active business leaders—around two-thirds run their own international companies—and possess on average more than twenty years of executive management experience. This combination of scholarly competence and practical leadership enables them to coach and mentor Kairos students both academically and professionally.
Andreas is one of the pioneers in for work-integrated learning in IBR. He is passionate about teaching strategic management and creation of new ventures in turbulent and unpredictable times. He is a member of IBR’s international management, strategy and transformation, and marketing group.
André is an incredible asset to IBR’s faculty, promoting academic scientific and social research, which always aims at a maximum value transfer into society. With three PhDs and exposure to global business from the East to the West and North to the South for most of his life, we are thankful for having him as research professor. Adrienne is multifaceted: business coach, down-to-earth interculturalist, systemic consultant, engineer, and lecturer in many countries of the world. She is part of IBRs human resources group.
Keith has been dedicating his life as an academic to care for the well-being of business that he saw failing too often. This led him to reengineer the approach to financial management learning, which till today has had a tremendous impact around the world. As a pioneer in IBR, he is part of our finance group.
Janos has received the highest accolades for teaching finance in our master programmes around the world. He is a great asset to IBR’s finance group.
Paula's interest in the management world focuses on investments and the facilitation of international business ventures. She is a member of IBR’s international management, strategy and transformation, and marketing group.
Andreas stands at the forefront of shaping international businesses for success, as consultant, trainer, and lecturer. He is a member of IBR’s operations and digital leadership group.
Emile is one of the pioneers in IBR. With him IBRs core faculty developed the first prototype of the Global MBA nearly 30 years ago in Belgium. He is part of IBRs international management, strategy and transformation, and marketing group.
Eli is a great promoter of work-integrated learning, across cultures and national borders. He has a passion for strategy and operations, appreciating the importance of technology to master the future. He is a member of the international management, strategy and transformation, and marketing group in IBR.
Thorsten’s passion is about facilitating the development of executive management skills required to master the great transformation ahead of us. He is part of IBRs human resource group.
Larry is an American and European author and educator at the same time, a graduate of IBR’s first protype of the Global MBA in the 1990s and has an incredible passion to equip the leaders of today to successfully master the tomorrow. He is part of IBR’s human resource group.
Peter belongs to the group of pioneers in IBR. He laid the foundation for the IBRs Human Resource Management Module during the very first hours of drafting the first prototype of the Global MBA in Belgium 25 years ago.
Andrea is a qualified psychologist, coach, lecturer, and supervisor since 1999. She is part of IBRs human resource group.
Kevin is a practitioner and academic, with research and advisory interests in leadership and leader development, and strategy. He is part of IBR’s international management, strategy and transformation, and marketing group.
Suzaan has joined the IBR faculty to strengthen its research capacity. She has an incredible passion for students and seeing their success in making the world a better place through research. She is part of IBRs operations and digital transformation group.
